Our annual summer tradition, the Strava competition, has come to an end! This challenge, which has become a regular part of our summer months, pushes our colleagues to exercise as much as possible during July and August. Everyone could participate, no matter the activity, as long as kilometers and hours were covered.
This year was particularly special, as not one, but two of our colleagues have emerged as the top performers in different categories. We congratulate them, as well as all the other participants, for their amazing efforts!
Champion in Distance:
In this category, we have an impressive winner when it comes to total kilometers covered. Joren Moeskop takes the crown with an incredible 2,912.70 km! Whether cycling, running, or walking, Joren racked up kilometers like a machine. But he wasn’t the only one who stood out. Thomas Van Dyck and Pieter Hendrickx followed closely in second and third places with their outstanding performances:
Joren Moeskop - 2 912,70 km
Thomas Van Dyck - 2 537,60 km
Pieter Hendrickx - 2 125,70 km
Jef Sysmans - 1 036,10 km
Jelle Sips - 852,50 km
Champion in Time:
Some participants chose to focus on the total time spent on their activities. In this category, Pieter Hendrickx emerges as the big winner, clocking in a remarkable 117 hours and 14 minutes of exercise. He was closely followed by Joren Moeskop, who also made his mark in this category. Here is the full top 5:
Pieter Hendrickx - 117 uur en 14 minuten
Joren Moeskop - 82 uur en 52 minuten
Thomas Van Dyck - 75 uur en 19 minuten
Vincent Van Gool - 69 uur en 38 minuten
Jef Sysmans - 52 uur en 44 minuten
What a Sporty Summer!
It was another summer full of action, determination, and healthy competition. While only two titles were awarded, there are no losers here. Everyone who participated not only improved their fitness but also contributed to the positive energy and motivation within our team.
Let’s start dreaming about next year’s challenge. Who knows what else is possible? One thing is certain: the bar is set high, and we can't wait to see who will take the honors next time.
Congratulations to all participants, and especially to this year’s champions! 👏
